After several albums that turned to the dark to share their torment and anger, Alcest returned in 2024 with Les Chants de l’Aurore, an opus resolutely focused on the light. The title alone seems to herald a beginning, a renewal, and this feeling continues as you listen to the tracks: L’Envol, Flamme Jumelle, Réminiscence, etc. The emphasis is on beauty, which you feel very, very strongly.
